Raise good humans, prepared for real life.

Not just kids who can pass tests. The Brooklyn Project helps children and teens build the emotional intelligence, life skills, resilience, creativity, healthy relationships, independence, and digital literacy that school usually doesn't teach on purpose.

1 Why this exists

School prepares kids academically. This is the rest.

Handling a big feeling. Fixing a friendship. Saying no when a group chat turns ugly. Making a decision with real money on the line. Most kids learn this stuff the hard way, if they learn it at all.

The Brooklyn Project teaches it on purpose, and differently at every age, because a 5-year-old and a 15-year-old need completely different things. There are games kids actually want to play, plain-spoken help for parents, and ready-to-run material for the educators and youth workers in the middle of it.

2 The founder

Built by someone who's run the room.

The Brooklyn Project is made by a practicing youth mentor: someone who spends real hours with real groups of kids and teens, and knows what happens when an activity meets a room that doesn't care about it yet.

That's the filter for everything here. If it wouldn't hold up with a real group on a bad day, it doesn't go in.

Founder bio goes here. Name, and the real experience behind this: how long, what kinds of groups, what it taught you. In your words.

3 The Brooklyn Principle

The Brooklyn Principle

Act how you would if Brooklyn was around.

The story of Brooklyn goes here. Who Brooklyn is, and why this project carries the name. To be written by the founder, in the founder's own words.

What we believe

Kids deserve a lecture respect.

Adults need another binder something they can run today.

A 5-year-old and a 15-year-old are basically the same different learners.

Say it impressively plainly.
